This is our Erin to a tee, happy, precocious, rambunctious, strong, loving and cuddly! We look forward to seeing that lady that God has you to be. We pray that it is one who loves Jesus and severs Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and one who serves those around her.
Happy 2nd Birthday, Erin!
We love you so much.

Christmas, Finally

We had the blessing of spending Christmas in San Diego at Jess and Dan's home with my parents and Holly's family. It was a surprise for the girls. We drove through 6 states to get there!

Started in Idaho...

Then Montana...

and...

and...

and...

Finally California, but I didn't get a picture of the state sign!
This was the day after we arrived when Papa and Holly's family arrived!
What a great surprise for all the kids.

The youngest grandkids

We enjoyed lots of sister time, family and cousin time, great food, wonderful drinks, playing outside in the sun 75 - 80 degrees (which this Idaho family roasted) and playing cards.

Erin's favorite place to sit, next to the Christmas tree.

We got to celebrate Noah's 5 birthday with roller stating, In & Out Burger (Noah's favorite) brownies and presents!

Christmas morning

Story time with Gaga

We talked Lucas into having his nails done!!!

Welcome Home!

the truck stuck

Lucas had to snow blow before we could drive up to unpack!

Last day...last minute of the hunt...

I broke my 7 year turkey "curse"
the last day of the last season and the last minute to hunt, I killed my first turkey(a jake). I was frozen it was 3 degrees or colder!!!

Up on the Mountain to go after my cow elk...

One shot one kill...

my first cow elk... ready to go on to my bull elk...

the man who gave me the love of hunting and the love of my life!

First elk hunting rite...being branded with the elk blood.

George (Lucas' boss) packing out my elk.

This is the Mountain that I took the elk from. I was on the point after I shot it and you can see the trail that the elk slid down on the left of the picture.

those two dots in the middle of the picture are Lucas and George packing out the last of the elk.

What an amazing hunt! I never would have thought that I would have hunted on my anniversary. It was amazing being with the love of my life going hunting. Looking forward to what God has in-store for us.
