Today

So today started off like every other Wednesday, I leave for work before 6am and Lucas watches the girls while I'm gone. Well, today Lucas had a business call and Cora got into my purse (which is on top of the dryer) and put on my 24 hour lipstick. Though I think she missed her lips!! We've tried to scrub it off, but I think she'll be stuck with it for a while.

After I got home from work Lucas left and at lunch brought home this big guy!
A 80lb male wolf, which was one of the wolves surrounding our house the other day that I called in. Pretty cool!! I'm so jazzed for Lucas.

My turn is next...

Baking with Mommy

For Audrey's birthday she got a mother/daughter apron set. So today we made Applesauce Protein Bars.

We had so much fun making these protein bars. Which if you want this recipe just email me. It was a lot of fun for the both of us. Cora is just not there, yet.

Our Audrey is 4!!

I really dropped the ball on this one. It's been way to long since I've blogged so here's what we've been up to. Our Audrey girl turn 4 on the 15th! I can' t believe how fast time is flying by. We had a Little Mermaid/ under the sea (due to the fact that she all almost all boys at her party) dress-up party on the 11th. My parents were able to be here and celebrate with us all.

Audrey blowing out her candles (though she picked out the trick candles and then got so frustrated that she said, "I just want these out so we can have the cake". Us adults were laughing so hard by this time. As you can tell Cora's getting in on the action.

Audrey wanted a carrot cake and cream cheese frosting.

The Beauty of Duck Hunting

Most of you know that duck hunting is not my favorite.  I'm not very good with the shot gun and fast moving objects, you have to get up way to early (2-3:30am), you stand in cold water or sit on the cold ground and I really don't like to eat duck. Get the point?!

But after seeing the beauty in these pictures I can start to see the love my husband has for waterfowl hunting. These picture were taken in January in Washington during the annual Swanson brothers duck hunt.
