Wow!

Has it been since July that I've posted anything??!! Well, that's what it's telling me. So it's time to get this thing started.

Highlights.

August. I turned 37, yes I know I'm pushing 40, but it's just a number, right? (I keep telling myself that!)

We started school my 4 year homeschooling the girls.

and peanut.
Also got my first black bear in Boundary County on opening day (a first for me) which has given me a total of 12 black bears.

September.
Cora turned 7. My spunky, smart, beautiful go getter, lover of Jesus and silly girl all around.

October just went by with lots of schooling and lots of rain, some duck hunting and some deer hunting.

November. We had Thanksgiving at our home with the Swanson brothers and families.

December to follow...

Working Backwards to Catch Up

I've been so delinquent in posting and I'm going to try harder to keep people up to date on what's happening with us. Please be patient with me. So...
Lucas' father's day fishing trip with his girls to start things off before I fall to far behind.

I've been so blessed by God to have a wonderful father for my children. I love watching him as he teaches our girls to love Jesus, disciplines, wrestles, plays hide-&-seek, loves on them and just cozy up with them on the couch. I also love how it's so important to him to pass on his love and passion of the out doors, from fishing, to hunting, to trapping and everything in between. I thank God for Lucas and I look forward to see him as he raises our girls into women who love Jesus and enjoying all the blessing we have by God's wonderful grace.

You can't see me...
a young duckling trying to hide right where we were fishing.

The loves of my life!

What happens when you've been camping for a week
and then have a hard days fishing.

Highlights from the last two months

Baking Christmas cookies

Nothing warms you up like hot chocolate with marshmallows

A little home improvement during Christmas break. My dad and I cut out this pony wall to open up the stairway. It makes it so open and airy. I also got my dishwasher installed, which is wonderful.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We started back up with my families tradition of stringing popcorn and cranberries. The two older girls had so much fun helping and well, Erin had a lot of fun eating the popcorn!

Thanksgiving a little late!

Just wanted to post a little on Thanksgiving.
It was a beautiful, sunny and very cold day. Lucas and I enjoyed hunting together, quad rides in the snow (I didn't get a picture of the tub being pull by the quad), grandparents and good food. We thank God for all these wonderful blessings.

Time to cut our Christmas trees!
