Merry Christmas!

"Then the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find the Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!'"
We want to wish everyone a Merry CHRISTmas! We pray you all have a blessed day celebrating with friends and family, our Lord Jesus' birth. We love you all.

Wolf

Yesterday morning at 4:45 am we woke up to wolves howling. It was fun listening for the first 15 mintues, but after and hour we grew very tried of it. So Lucas, who had a wolf tag, got all bundled up ( I mean it was -10 degrees) and went after him. The wolf was only 100 yards from the house to start with, but Lucas tracked him for 4 hour and three miles later, shot him. The wolf was a male about 100 lbs and totally frozen by the time we took these pictures. Pretty exciting!

Audrey feeding the ducks

I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures from Thanksgiving. But I did take these on our way home from Tri-Cities. Audrey had so much fun feeding the ducks gold fish crackers.

One for you and one for me. Of course she had a take some for herself.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I just wanted to tell everyone, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Now I know what you're thinking, why is she telling us now... we still have a few days. We're going out of town and I didn't know if I would be able to get this out.

I want to take this opportunity I share with you all what I'm thankful for. I want to thank God for His Son Jesus Christ, without Christ we would be lost in our sins.

This year has been quite a year with it's joys and trials. But through it all God has been our comfort and strength. First I want to thank God for my wonderful loving husband and how God continues to strengthen our marriage and our love to each other. Also for his hard work to take care of all his girls. I also want to thank God for our beautiful little Cora. Being blessed with a very easy delivery (well as easy as baby deliveries go) and for a very healthy baby. Two months old and is 13lbs 1oz and 23 in. long. I'm also thankful for my mom. What quiet strength, love and a servants heart she demonstrates through her giving of her self. Next I'm so thankful that my dad's cancer treatment went well and that God continues to heal his body. Also for Lizzie and how God continues to grow and strengthen her little body as she battles Leukemia. Lastly, we're so thankful for all the animals that Lucas has killed, moose, six point bull elk, four point mule deer, and lots of forest chickens... and I'm sure there's more to come.

Let it Snow!

Over the past two days we've received about a foot of snow.
It's beautiful!
Audrey is still not sure if she likes the snow. She better get use to it, though.

Can we say, no nap?

She looks so cute
