Update on Dad

I just wanted to update everyone on my dad. He starts his treatments tomorrow. It will be 35 sessions, five days a week. He'll also have 3 doses of chemo. On in the beginning and in the middle and at the end. He's doctor said that he'll need a feeding tube, which he wasn't happy about, but it's going to really hurt when he eats after he starts treatment. But no one wants to do the procedure until the doctor's know who will insure my dad. Please pray that God will provide, which He always does. Dad's also getting a pik to receive the chemo and to help hydrate him before chemo treatments.

Please also pray that God will give mom strength to take care of dad and to just keep up on everything else. Praise God for Holly, she's been there helping dad and taking him to doctor appointments and doing a lot of paper work for mom and dad. Thank you all for your prays and support.

It's a Girl!!

Well, we found out yesterday that we're going to have a little girl! We're so happy. Audrey will now have a little sister for a playmate.
We've named her:

Cora - The little maiden
Tiffany - Manifestation of God

We're looking forward to having this little one around.

First Hairstyle / Spring!

Yesterday, I put Audrey's hair in her very first pigtails! It's long enough in the back, though the top is taking a little longer to grow than the rest of Her hair! Oh well. It just looked so adorable that I had to post it. She thought it was fun having me fix it.

Spring is coming! I'm so glad. Though this picture is 4o miles down river, but it means that it will be here soon! Maybe in another month or so. Today is beautiful and sunny and Audrey and I are going to play out on the deck with bubbles!

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a very blessed Easter celebrating our Risen Savior Jesus Christ.
I started off the morning trying to burn down the house with my sticky buns I made... but once I got the under control the rest of the day was wonderful. We started with a blessed church service, in which we just became members of our brand new CREC church, Christ Church of Missoula. Then we went to some friends house for dinner and fellowship.
Miles and Audrey playing. They're just a month apart. Miles is older.

They had a great time with their eggs.

I just had to take a picture of this. Audrey already loves the phone...

Miles from church and Audrey playing while trying to find eggs! They did better finding eggs before they were suppose to, then when they were actually hunting for eggs.

Audrey loved playing with this balloon.

Lucas and Audrey showing off her pretty Easter dress. Believe it or not, we didn't take any family picture. We'll get better at this.

Joy in Trials

James tell us in James 1:2-4
"My brethren, count it all joy when your fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

I write this after my dad was diagnosed with throat cancer yesterday. The cancer was only found in the throat and in a couple of his lymph nodes, so the doctors are not talking surgery at this point. Right now we don't know a lot yet. He hasn't seen an oncologist yet, so we're just waiting to hear what the next step is. But it looks like he'll be starting with radiation and possibly cemo. When I talked to my dad yesterday, he was his funny joking self and just made me laugh.

We know that our God is sovereignly in control and that nothing comes to us apart from His loving hands and that none of this is a surprise to Him. I would just ask that you all would pray for complete healing for dad (Dale) if that is our loving Heavenly Father's will. Tomorrow being Good Friday and know that what our Savior went through, please pray for strength for us in the coming days.

Our little chocolate lover!

Audrey got this new dress for her birthday and she wanted to wear it over her clothes.
