Merry Christmas from Audrey

Audrey loves this santa hat.

Snow, Snow, Snow,

Yesterday was Audrey's first time sitting in the snow. She wasn't to sure of what to do. Oh, Well. We all had fun on the snow mobile and 4 wheeler. We got about 7 inches of snow yesterday and it's still snowing. I think we're going to have a white Christmas.

Lizzie

This was an email sent out by my brother-in-law and I wanted to pass it on to everyone. I found it very encouraging. We have a very faithful and awesome God who hears the prayers of His children.

Greetings,

Praise the Lord for his mercies endure forever!

We are overjoyed to share that things are going very well for us! Lizzie was able to come home from the hospital last Sunday and has thoroughly enjoyed spending the last week at home. We were planning on spending another week or two in the hospital for Liz to have a minor surgery meant to alleviate some intense abdominal pain. However, God poured out his mercy upon her and she became pain free. This was just ten days ago, and as a result, she was able to come home.

It has been wonderful settling back into life as a family and not having to drive back and forth to Washington D.C. Samuel and Jacob are also thrilled to have their big sister home and the three of them have been playing together nonstop. Liz still has about 2 years of treatments left to complete, but she doesn't have any more scheduled hospital stays...Praise God! However, her immune system is still weak, and if she runs a fever, she will have to spend 3 days in the hospital for observation. So, we are now asking for prayer that she would stay healthy and that God would protect her from all the nasty little bugs that get passed around during the winter months.

We cannot thank you enough for your prayers, cards, gifts, meals, and babysitting. We have been so blessed by the body of Christ and it has been amazing to watch His love poured out on us. We have started a caring bridge website to post updates, but there is very little information on there for now. You can find it by going to caringbridge.org and typing in Lizzieklier (one word) We will be posting updates there and I believe there is a way to subscribe to the page so that any updates will be sent to your email account. Also, Some of you may know that I am a fan of Toyota Land Cruisers, some of you may not. In any case, I am part of an online community that focuses on Land Cruisers and attempts to give technical and mechanical assistance to folks who need it. One of the other members runs a wine importing business and decided to start a website featuring a variety of wine with Land Cruisers on the labels. For each bottle of wine sold, the owner is donating eight dollars to Lizzie. The wine is from Chile and is pretty good from what I have heard. The site is http://www.grapesurfer.com/cruiser_wines_s/33.htm Even if you are not interested in Land Cruisers, the labels are unique, the wine is good, and the profits go to a good cause. Well, I think that is all for now, thanks again for all of your prayers.
In His Mercy, The Kliers

I would encourage everyone to take a look at the wines. The labels are all very original. They're a lot of fun.

Our little Ham

This morning as I write this it's -7 and we have 8 - 10 inches of snow on the ground (not a lot yet, but we'll get there). It's been cold lately, but we're enjoying the weather. We took Audrey for her first snowmobile ride the other day. She seemed to enjoy it. She loves being outside and gets so excited when we're out.
I just had to share these adorable pictures of her hamming around with daddy at dinner the other night. I just love her big smile. She is such a daddy's girl. She loves that Lucas is home at night, now that his training for work is all done. We're all happy that the 26 weeks of training are finished and he's able to be home now.

An answer to Prayer

Lucas and I have been married almost 2 years and we haven't had a couch. Living in the apartment we didn't have room for one. But we were finally able to buy one a few weeks ago. How wonderful it is to sit next to my husband in the evening. God has blessed our family so richly.

Christmas Cheer!!

This was taken yesterday morning and since then it's snowed all day and night. Now we have about 6 inches. It looks so beautiful, as I type this the snow is falling in big flakes. I love the snow!

We cut our tree just a mile from our home.

Sanctity of Life

I just wanted to pass this on to anyone would loves and cares about the sanctity of life. This email was given to our church body in Moscow. Please read it. These next four years are going to be an up hill battle, so please take a look at the website and show our support and help in the fight for life.

Dear Friend,
I'm writing to let you know about a terrible piece of legislation called "The Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA). FOCA would establish the right to abortion as a fundamental right (like the right to free speech) and wipe away every restriction on abortion nationwide. It will eradicate state and federal abortion laws that the majority of Americans support and prevent states from enacting similar protective measures in the future. Please read the expert analysis by Americans United for Life (AUL) and sign the Fight FOCA petition at:http://www.FightFOCA.com
Thank you!

Love to all.

Buck Fever!

On Friday Lucas shot his buck for the year. The buck was bedded down and Lucas walk by. Then the buck stood up and was challenging Lucas. Well as you can see the buck lost!

Audrey enjoyed being out with us. Though she doesn't realize that she needs to be quiet yet, that will come though.

This guy out weighed Lucas. Now the quest is on for me to get my doe and buck; hopefully soon!

Audrey Our Cutie!

Isn't she such a ham? Well, we know where that comes from, not me of course.

Audrey does the bear walk all the time.

She's crawling all over the house now and getting into everything.

She loves eating real food. As you can see, she gets it all over her face, but thoroughly enjoys it.
Isn't she just way to cute for her own good?

Wednesday Morning!

An old logging road behind our home. Bandit enjoyed the hike.

This is what we woke up to on Wednesday. Isn't it just beautiful. It now melted, but it was so beautiful. We had to take a hike in it behind our home.

Praise about Lizzie

I just wanted everyone to know, the Doctors didn't find any Leukemia in Lizzie's brain or her spine. Praise God for His goodness in this. Liz did start her chemotherapy two days ago and she's doing pretty good under the circumstances.
Please continue to pray for success in the treatments as well as peace as Liz goes through all this.
Please also pray for Dan and his job in the Marines that the Lord would work it all out and that there wouldn't be any repercussions with all this.

We serve a wonderful and faithful God and He is able to do all this above and beyond what we could ever imagine.

Friday, October 31, 2008

Today the Doctors are going to be checking her brain and spinal cord for Leukemia. Pray that they won't find anything there.

If you would like to send cards to Lizzie you can email me @ mrsswanson06@live.com and I'll get you her address.

Thank you so much for all your prays and support.

Lizzie

My little niece Lizzie has Leukemia. Please pray with us for peace and that we would all trust in God our Father and in His perfect, good and acceptable will.

Philippians 4:6-7,11b,19-20
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus... for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:... And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer

I just wanted to put this out to all my friends and family that I haven't been able to talk to.

My little niece Lizzie, who just turned 6 a few days ago, was taken to the hospital yesterday for some testing. She's been sick off and on for months now and the Doctor yesterday had them go strait to the children's hospital. She had a blood transfusion last night and today she's having a bone marrow tap.
We should be hear sometime today what the doctors found out with the tests.

Please pray for Lizzie, that God would do a mighty healing of her little body. Pray for peace for Jess and Dan and Lizzie and the boys. Also pray for wisdom for the doctors that they would be able to know what the next steps will be and whats really going on. Also for Jess being pregnant that God will take care of her and the baby.

Right now I'm clinging to Romans 8:26 - 38 "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

Please pray with us and lift Lizzie up to our Father who loves us with an everlasting love. Thank you to everyone for your love and support and pray.

SNOW

Audrey's first taste of snow. I'm not really sure how she like it.
Here's the Walton Lakes with six inches of snow now, and that's just the beginning. Soon we won't be able to drive up there, just snowmobile. Now that should be a lot of fun.

Autumn

Every time I go out with Lucas and Audrey for a drive or to go hunting I'm reminded just how wonderful and awesome God is. The beauty of His creation sings forth His majesty.

Family Picture

Our latest picture of our whole little family behind our home at the horse corral.

Here we are at a lake in the Bitterroot Mountains by our house. It was a little cold from Audrey so I zipped her up in my jacket. The snow has already started!

I just love this picture of Audrey.
