Bear Anyone?

Last night I shot my first bear. I was hunting by myself which is a little scary for me, I would rather hunt with Lucas, but I did it. Someone had to watch the girls. I packed it out myself and rode the ATV back down the mountain to home. I felt like Annie Oakley, with a modern twist! She just a little gal, but I happy with her. We're going to give the pelt to the girlies to play with.

34th Surprise Anniversary Party

We surprised our parents on June 12th, with a 34th Anniversary Party in California! Their real anniversary date is August 7th. And what a surprise it was! Jess flew in from Virginia, Lucas, me and the girls came from Idaho, Mom's brother and sister-in-law came in from Idaho (that was a surprise for us as well!), as well as many relatives and friends from all around the area. What a special time we all had! Holly did all of the leg work for it, and she did an amazing job. There was a slide show from dad & mom's engagement through the years until now with mom and dad's 8 (soon to be 9) grand babies!

This past weekend we had Pat and Gabe up and that's always a scary proposition, something always happens. Well this time was no different. Lucas got crazy with the razor. Oh well, at least it grows back!

We then cut it all off. Which is much better then this!

GG & Eddy

GG (great-grandma) & Eddy (her dog) came for a visit. We had a great time with her and the girls just loved her. It was Pat's first time meeting the girls, so that was special. As you can tell Cora was not happy about the picture time.
