Over the past three years of bear hunting I took my sixth bear this evening!
It's a two year old sow about 125 - 140 lbs. which is an average black bear for Idaho. It was a great hunt and I'm looking forward to deer season now!
While we were in California, Jess threw a baby shower for Holly. I didn't get very many good shots because my batteries were dying. But you'll get a little taste of the party. Which Jess did such a wonderful job, while trying to pack up her house and get ready to move to San Diego!
Of course we had to take a ride on Papa's Harley.
Cora's first ride on a Harley and she loved it (I think she takes after her mommy and papa).
We were able to get a picture of the whole Reiter/Klier/Dowdey/Swanson, which was the first time since Holly and Ryan's wedding! Wow, that was a while ago and a few short on grand babies!
It was such a blessed time being with the whole family. It doesn't happen very often with it family and our crazy lives, but it was wonderful!
I know that it has taken me so long to post the rest of our trip to California, but here goes. We had so much fun taking the kiddos (ours and Jess') to the zoo. It was a bummer that Holly wasn't able to come with her boys as well as my parents. Though we all had a blast and all the kids just loved it. Warning: Picture overload!
Jess and Lucas were giving me such a hard time for taking all the flower pictures, but they were so beautiful I couldn't resist. I only post a few!
