34th Surprise Anniversary Party

Is this a kissing movie?
We surprised our parents on June 12th, with a 34th Anniversary Party in California! Their real anniversary date is August 7th. And what a surprise it was! Jess flew in from Virginia, Lucas, me and the girls came from Idaho, Mom's brother and sister-in-law came in from Idaho (that was a surprise for us as well!), as well as many relatives and friends from all around the area. What a special time we all had! Holly did all of the leg work for it, and she did an amazing job. There was a slide show from dad & mom's engagement through the years until now with mom and dad's 8 (soon to be 9) grand babies!
Our (small) fam

Sisters (it had been over a year since we'd all been together)

The Reiter family that was there

the wonderful food spread, two tables just like this
Fruit kabobs, shrimp, sandwich rolls, meats and cheeses, rolls, veggies & cheesecake with strawberry or huckleberry puree

we sang our parents wedding song, 'Wedding Song' (There is Love)

second cousins having a blast together

Yellow and Green my parents wedding colors

My parents didn't have a honeymoon, so as a gift from everyone, we're sending them on a 10 day Alaskan cruise in September!
I love you Mom and Dad!

this was such a great idea!!! I think you've given me some idea for my parent's 35th :)

It was fun seeing the picture of you 3 girls with Mom and Dad and then you 3 sisters together.
Looks like it was a lovely, lovely time!

You got some great pictures, Cola! Where was the party held? It seems too big to be someone's house. Great planning by the girls!

It was at mom & dad's church in Middletown.
