Nice Nicola! I am not doing much cooking. But, I made jello eggs for the kids - filling real blown out egg shells with jello. And, I am making a fresh spring pea soup for to add to the dinner at my parents house.
We'll have eggs with chives & fresh ricotta for breakfast, with bacon on the side.

Do you do the sausage making? Or does Lucas do it? Do you guys have a majority of red meat? Or does Lucas hunt any poultry?

Happy Easter!

Lucas and I do the sausage together. It's such a great bonding time. I love our time together making sausage or cutting up meat. Lucas and I hunt grouse (which is one of my favorites), turkey, chucker (well Lucas hunts these I think I'd fall off the cliff if I did) and pheasant. But this year Lucas has shot so much red meat, I don't have to scrimp on the meat, maybe other things!

sounds like so much fun! How nice to know exactly where your meat came from and how it was prepared.

Have a wonderful Easter!
